Magnitude of Feel

The 'Feeling' of 'Missing You' is as depressing as the excitement of 'Meeting You.' In simple words, both the feelings have same magnitude, but with opposite signs, one with a Plus (+) sign, while the other with a minus (-) sign.

We should thank God that we havn't assigned a number to our Feelings and I doubt we would ever do that. 'Cause then, loving you soo much would become worthless, missing you like a hell would be hilarious.

Com'on saying that I am missing you, for example, 10 liters, or 15 netwon, 5 miles
.. ah ...yeakh ...

Human Resource and Me

Well ... Don't know why, but after studying human resource and reading so much about compensation and motivation and even keeping human factor in mind, I just unable to get rid of this idea that we want to make Man, a machine.

Maximizing the output of human being, how to keep them motivated to work in our interest, to maximize our profits.

We are in a big curse, buddies !!!

Zavia - Scattered Thoughts

A few weeks ago, while I was browsing net, I came across a link for downloading Ashfaq Ahmed’s Zavia. I used to watch Ashfaq Ahmed’s program on Television with the same title Zavia so this struck me and I downloaded the whole digital book and start reading it as well while downloading.

The hallmark of Ashfaq Ahmed is that he talks about on social issues and on very little things, which, according to some of my friends are useless, but it has always attracted me, and I intentionally or unintentionally memorized his examples and implemented on my life.

For example, we always try to find out who is right and who is wrong. Although I watched this program I guess 10 years back, but still remember it as Ashfaq Sahib has quoted a very simple example. He narrated that there was a Baba (baba means an elder figure who is considered as mentor to seek guidance in life) sitting with his students. One of his students came and said it is a very difficult task to be a WALI-ul-LLAH (friend of ALLAH (swt)) and this requires years of exercise, prayers, etc. The baba acknowledged his view and said yes indeed it’s a difficult job and one acquires this status after facing quite a lot of hardship. Upon listening this, another student presented his views and says, but we see that those who are not a good soul, like thieves and addicts, suddenly faces a thing which changes their lives within a moment and they become WALI-ul-LLAH. The baba gave consent with his views as well and said you are right too. There are people who becomes WALI-ul-LLAH out of nowhere. Now, these are two entirely contradictory observations and baba agreed to both and this made another student to speak and he said how could this be possible that both of them are right, while both have contradictory views and immediately baba replied that Son, you are right too. It is not possible that both contradictions can be true for same thing.

Believe me, I have been so much under stress in finding out the truth as I browsed history books, Quran, Hadis book to determine which of Islamic sect is absolutely right and whenever I tried to detach my self from biasness I find myself in same position. Although the views are entirely contradictory yet they appeared to be quite rational.

But the example quoted by Ashfaq Sahib has made me think that there can be more than one truth. Although logically it is impossible and I am of the view that there can only be one truth so this led me to conclude that “there isn’t any truth” exist in this world. While using the word truth I mean “sachaii” (Urdu word). What we have in this world is “Perceptions.”

Well, I am a bit short of time so cannot go into details what perception means to me as it is quite a lengthy topic to discuss and I’ll be back with my thoughts on perceptions.

But for the readers of this blog, I suggest that you should once in your early life read ZAVIA by Ashfaq Sahib because he teaches how to be a human being, if not a good one.

Human - Have I understood them ...

Psychology of a man or for instance human cannot be understood completely. It has so many constituent that make a complete psyche. Even a person him/herself would not be able to calculate correctly about behaviors’ of his for a particular situation.

Any constituent may dominate his feeling at that point in time. A person, generally thought as cool-headed man, may burst; and a person, who has developed his repo has short-tempered guy, may remain completely quiet.

It is said that human beings are made up of mud, and the other ingredients are fire, air and water. These four constituents can be seen in human behavior. For example, mud represents ground, humbleness – ain’t human beings humble? Fire – well ! haven’t we seen some in rage? Air – pride, above everything – don’t our family, friends, fellows sometimes act in a very proud way. I am this, I can do that kind of sentences aren’t alien to our ears. Water – adoptability, we (human beings) adapt to any situation and survive. We make our own way, just like water and we are cool.

At a glance we see that they are just opposite to each other – mud and air, water and fire – and this fine blend of contra elements have created very beautiful nature of ours.

So anything including possible and impossible behavior can be seen in any human. However, we can wrongfully, wrongfully and I mean it, estimate the chance of “what would be the behavior,” which even being expected may differ to 180 degree, i.e. just opposite.

Besides these material elements, we receive care from parents, family, friends, teacher that contributes towards our “character building.” The books we read, the TV shows that we watch, the interest that we take in different activities of life and the traumas that we went through in our life influences our mind set.

Thus, a human character, brain becomes so much complex and complicated that one cannot study it thoroughly. Besides, psychology is not a number game where we can precisely estimate about answers.

For example, I entered in a bout with my friend for the first time and we engaged in severe usage of kicks and punches and we were about to kill each other if we weren’t separated. Now second time, we develop the same situation what would I do. No, you cannot guess what would I be doing at that time? In fact, even I cannot guess what would be my reaction. I may start kicking his ass more severely and brutally then last time. I may just excuse him saying man go to hell I don’t want to fight. I may start counseling him, saying, hey man!! It’s not the right way, we are friends. I may just leave. May be something else I would opt there. You never know.
